Dedicated security system for the battery pack Li-ion battery. For the PCM is included cell balancing system. Cell balancing is to improve battery performance, increase the total capacity of the package and its vitality. This is necessary because the individual cells, as supplied by the same manufacturer, can differ in terms of the maximum discharge capacity, impedance and temperature characteristics.

This results in a different level of the charge, which in turn affects the total battery capacity - for example, some cells in unbalanced battery may drain or load faster than others. Therefore, cell balancing is usually recommended for longer battery with at least three cells, and if more of them becomes a necessity.
